*Call to Worship       Brenda Murphy, Liturgist Psalm 19:7-14 (ESV)
One: The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
All: the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
One: the fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether.
All: More to be desired are they than gold even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb.
One: Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.
All: Who can discern his errors? Declare me innocent from hidden faults.                                                      One: Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me! Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression.
All: Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer. Amen.

*Hymn No. 180  “Lord, Who Throughout These Forty Days”

Lord God, heavenly King, almighty God, we worship you, we give you thanks, we praise you for your glory. Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Lord God, Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world: have mercy on us; you are seated at the right hand of the Father: receive our prayer. For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. AMEN.

Offertory prayer   Rev. Mathews
O God, you have given us a new and living way to offer ourselves to you. Though unworthy as we are, we come to you through your Son Jesus of Nazareth; and in his name we ask you to accept and use us and these gifts for your glory. All that is created is yours and everything that we can offer already belongs to you.  AMEN.

A Time of Prayer/ Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.  For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

*Hymn No. 635  “Faith of Our Fathers”

*Dismissal with Blessing

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.  May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.  May the grace of God enfold you, love of Christ uphold you, and the Spirit of truth set you free. Go forward in faith. May god bless us. AMEN.
