Spirit of God, we have gathered together in this place to pray and to make ourselves

ready for your coming.  Give us faith that when you come like the wind, though we

do not see you, yet we may hear what you are saying to us and discern your movement.

Give us courage, that we may not fear the tongue of flame: let all that is unworthy,

impure, and sinful be burned from our lives.  May we know that it is love that burns

so brightly and love that strips away our sin.  Give us an open heart, Lord that we

may seek all people for your realm, and set no limits to the proclaiming of your word.

Holy Spirit, with the whole church we wait for you in every place and in every

BOOK DISCUSSION SERIES ON “BOUNDARIES” Sunday, May 15 & 22. One of the big

complaints today is that no one has a sense of “boundaries” anymore with folks doing things they

shouldn’t.  But the problems often begin with ourselves and the challenge of setting limits and

deciding what’s appropriate and what’s not.  Our book discussion will focus on healthy boundary

setting for the sake of ourselves and others using as a guide a new bestselling book entitled

“Boundaries,” by Christian psychologists and counselors Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend.

Not to be missed is their look at “Ten Laws of Boundaries” and “Common Boundary Myths.”

Other chapters focus on boundary setting with our spouses, children, co-workers, and God.  Led by

Pastor Geoff Drutchas, we will gather in the parlor from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
