*UNISON INVOCATION  Pastor Drutchas and Congregation

O Lord, sometimes it’s difficult for us to truly worship You – in Spirit and in

truth.  We bring along all the baggage of the past week.  We are so easily

distracted.  We are making plans for this afternoon and tomorrow when we

should be thinking about You and Your word.  Help us to set aside anything

and everything that would detract from the sacredness of this hour, and

enable us to focus our minds on what we have come here to do.  In Jesus’

      name we pray. Amen.

SPECIAL MUSIC  “Great and Mighty Lord,”  Chancel Choir (9), “

SCRIPTURE READING  Matthew 5:13-48  Lectors:  Jeannette Wackro and

    Pastor Drutchas

Your words to me are life and health; pour strength into my soul; enable,

guide, and teach my heart to reach its perfect goal.  Your words to me are light

and truth; from day to day they show their wisdom, passing earthly lore, as in

    their truth I grow.

*Congregation Standing
