  CANDY CANE CHRISTMAS…The “2017” Sunday School Christmas pageant,

  “Candy Cane Christmas,” will be performed on Sunday, December 17th.  The production

  will be held in the Fellowship Hall as part of the 10:30 a.m. worship service.  Following

  the pageant, a special luncheon will be hosted by the Christian Education Ministry.  All

  are encouraged to attend.  In addition, parents should plan to bring their cameras and

  children their wish list as we anticipate a special visit from Santa. Parents, please mark

  your planners as a special dress and all cast rehearsal to be held on Saturday, December

  16th from 10:00 a.m. – noon.  All cast members should refer to their rehearsal schedules

  for additional rehearsal dates.

  

  INVITING ALL LADIES!  Women’s Fellowship, Sew ‘n Sews, and Dorcas Society

  will be celebrating their Annual Christmas Luncheon on Thursday, December 14th at

  12:30 p.m. at Toast Family Dining, 22100 West Rd, Woodhaven, 48183 and would like

HEALTH MINISTRIES - Exercise Classes - Exercise is important to our health. No

  classes in December.  Watch this space for classes resuming in January, 2018. All are

  welcome.  Participants had noticeable improvement in dexterity, balance, and strength.  

  Shalom – Chronic disease group meeting. Our next meeting is December 11th at 1 PM.  

  Health/Medical supplies –If you have or need medical supplies, such as walkers,

  wheelchairs, please contact our parish nurse, Kathy Williams, or the office.

 

ORDER YOUR CHRISTMAS POINSETIAS to honor someone special in your life or in memory of a loved one who has passed away.  The cost is $8.00 per plant and can be ordered by filling out one of the white envelopes found in the pew racks and designate Christmas poinsettias.  Deadline for ordering is Friday, December 15th.  The poinsettias will be placed in the Chancel area before Sunday, December 24th and will remain there throughout our candlelight services.  Any plant you ordered can be taken after the service you attend on Christmas Eve.  If there are any plants left behind they will be given to our shut-in or nursing homes where church members reside. 

 

JOIN YOUR CHURCH FAMILY TODAY at 12:30 p.m. for a special presentation offered by Karen Depriest, daughter of St. Paul members Julius and Janet Enesey.  Karen will be sharing her daughter Christy’s dream to help orphans around the world.  While Christy lost her battle with cancer, her legacy lives on through Christy’s Legacy of Hope.  Come hear her heart touching and life changing story.  We will be gathering in the West Room.

  PM in the Parlor. Please come with ideas for next year’s outings/ meetings or give them to

  Kathy Williams prior to that day.

 

   CHILDREN’S CHOIR will not gather again until January 21, 2018 in the West Room

   after the 10:30 a.m. service to practice our songs.  All children up to and including 6th grade

   are invited to join.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Children’s Choir

   Director, Sally Sigman.  We will be singing at the Christmas Pageant next Sunday.

    

   2018 GIVING ENVELOPES are now available for pickup in the Narthex (rear) of the

   church.  Please ask one of the ushers to assist you in locating your box.  If you do not find a

   box with your name on it speak with Financial Secretary, Annette, or call the church office

SEWING GUILD Sew ‘N Sews next meeting will be January 18, 2018 at 10 a.m. Bring a sandwich, coffee & dessert is provided. No sewing experience is required, join us for fellowship and Food For Thought!  We will not be gathering in December.
